The 2026 ASPC African Continental Forum will take place in Swakopmund, Namibia, hosted at the MTC Dome, bringing together African and international leaders committed to advancing the future of high-performance sport across the continent. The Forum reflects the growing momentum and ambition of the African high-performance ecosystem, creating an important meeting point for collaboration, capacity building, and the exchange of expertise adapted to the unique realities and opportunities of African sport. 

The programme will focus on strategic areas such as athlete development pathways, women in African sport, applied performance science, data-informed coaching methodologies, and long-term planning for continental competitiveness. Through presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, the Forum aims to strengthen connections between institutions, coaches, scientists, and sport organisations while promoting innovative and sustainable performance systems capable of generating long-term international success. The ASPC African Continental Forum represents not only a space for technical learning, but also a platform to reinforce Africa’s growing influence within the global high-performance sport landscape.
