NATIONAL SPORTS CENTRE FOR FOOTBALL IS NOW IN RIO MAIOR

The Portuguese Football Federation, the Rio Maior City Council and the Rio Maior Sports Complex have established a partnership for a National Football Training Centre in Rio Maior, on 6th June 2013.

This collaboration aims to support the preparation of all football, futsal and beach football national teams.

The Mayor of Rio Maior, Isaura Morais declared that "this partnership is an honor for Rio Maior, where we will contribute to the success of all national football teams." The President of the Portuguese Football Federation, Fernando Gomes began to declare  "satisfaction and pride on this partnership. The Rio Maior Sports Centre is now a home for all teams to develop their activities, taking up its own administrative and technical space."
