ASPC Announces the winners of the 2026 Mike English Scholarship Program

The Association of Sport Performance Centres (ASPC) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2026 Mike English Scholarship Program, an initiative designed to support professional development, foster innovation, and strengthen collaboration across the global ASPC network.

Following a competitive evaluation process involving nine applications from eight countries, two projects were selected for their outstanding potential to generate organizational learning, promote knowledge transfer, and create lasting impact within the high-performance sport sector.

GENERAL SPORT SCIENCES PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE CATEGORY

South Australian Sports Institute (Australia)

The winning initiative focuses on strengthening how knowledge generated through research, practitioner expertise, and daily operational experience can be effectively translated into practice. The Evaluation Committee recognised its strong relevance across the ASPC network, its emphasis on sustainable organizational learning, and its potential to enhance collaboration and decision-making within high-performance environments.

WOMEN PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT CATEGORY

CREPS Hauts-de-France (France)

The winning initiative addresses one of the key priorities facing high-performance sport organizations today: creating sustainable pathways for women to progress into leadership and decision-making roles. The Evaluation Committee highlighted the proposal's strategic vision, comprehensive planning, and strong potential to drive long-term organizational and cultural change while generating transferable learning for the wider ASPC community.

The ASPC extends its congratulations to both members and looks forward to following the implementation of these initiatives and sharing their outcomes with the wider network.

The Mike English Scholarship Program continues to honour the legacy of Mike English by investing in professional exchange, organisational learning, and the development of high-performance sport organizations worldwide. Through this program, ASPC reaffirms its commitment to fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence across its international membership.
