During the meeting, the BOD addressed a broad range of key topics, with particular focus on the progress and preparation of the upcoming ASPC Continental Forums across all regions (America, Africa and Europe). These events remain central to ASPC’s mission of fostering knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the continued development of the global high-performance sport network.
The discussions also covered important aspects related to the organization’s future development and long-term impact within the international high-performance sport ecosystem.
The BOD was pleased to welcome Simo Tarvonen (Urhea | Metropolitan Area Sports Academy & National Olympic Training Center Helsinki) and Brendon Goodenough, whose contributions provided valuable perspectives and further enriched the strategic discussions.
In parallel with the meeting, the BOD is taking advantage of its presence in Belgrade to visit key venues and locations that will host the International Forum on Elite Sport Belgrade 2027. These site visits are being conducted in close collaboration with Dr. Siniša Jasnić, CEO of the Forum, ensuring alignment and steady progress towards the successful delivery of this major international event.
