The Desmor - Rio Maior Sports Centre has a 50M and 25M indoor pool and possibility for open water swimming. There is a synthetic track with 8 lanes and there are beautiful running or biking tracks. The training circumstances are excellent and have been experienced by many national triathlon federations already.
It is the official Portuguese Olympic preparation centre and the official national swimming high performance centre.

The General Assembly of the ASPC for 2016 was held under the support of The Swiss Federal Institute of Sports Magglingen as a member of the worldwide association of high-performance sports centers (ASPC) since, 2015.
